Politics Online Conference 2008, in Washington

polc logoThe gathering, organized by the Institute for Politics Democracy & The Internet (IPDI), will take place on March 4 & 5 at the Renaissance Washington, DC Hotel.

Some of the featured speakers for this edition include Phil Noble, Founder of PoliticsOnline; Michael Palmer, eCampaign Director, John McCain for President; Colin Delany, Founder of epolitics.com; and Andrew Rasiej, Founder, Personal Democracy Forum among several others.

Sessions of the event are certainly very interesting, and some of topics are: ‘Social Networking/Media Strategies for the Presidential Campaigns’; “The Long Tail: How the Niche is Revolutionizing Politics’; ‘Best Practices for Political Advertising Online’; and ‘How web video changes the political conversation’.

It appears to be that Politics 2.0 is closer than what we can imagine.
