Political Base, a new space for political conversation

The convergence of the so called web 2.0 and politics brings a new project to the arena. Political Base is set to become a source for lively conversation and information on political issues, candidates and opinion.

The initiative wants to become a place for engaging conversations about politics and also plans to help connect candidates, fundraising, issues and media.

The website has among other features, a very interesting database of key public people, including Senators, Representatives, academics and even power players. You can also find complete information about the 2008 US Presidential election and the candidates.

Content of Political Base comprise, on the one side, publicly available data and media resources, and on the other side contributions by their own bloggers, community and moderators.
