m-government maltaThe Ministry for Information Technology and Investment of Malta aims to offer e-Government services through mobile phones. Mobiles are extremely popular and widespread in Malta, reaching more than 60% of the population.

Under this initiative, users of mobile phones can access several government services with their devices. They can get different type of messages via SMS, for example acknowledgements of customers complaints, notifications for license-renewal or notifications for Direct Credit Payments from the Department of Social Security.

e-brasil logoThe project aims to become a space to discuss about the use of information and communications technologies (ICT), and how these will help build a more competitive and equitable Brazil.

The portal has different sponsors and partners, and visitors can navigate through different sections like ‘Digital Economy’, ‘e-Governo’, ‘e-Education and Training’, and ‘e-Health’.

Available both in english and portuguese, e-Brazil portal is also a country gateway of the Development Gateway Foundation, according to the website.
