The Golden Dot Awards 2007

eadmissions logoThe Institute for Politics, Democracy & the Internet will present the Golden Dot Awards 2007 for excellence in online campaigning. The gathering will take place March 15-16, 2007 at the annual Politics Online Conference at The George Washington University.

The Awards recognize outstanding achievement in the use of the Internet to try to influence the political process -for an electoral campaign, official ballot, political party, etc.- during the whole year 2006.

Nominations are free and open to the public, and must be received by 5:00 PM, EST on Tuesday, February 28, 2007. Individuals, firms, political parties or campaigns can be nominated for one or more of these award categories including: ‘People’s Choice Award for Online Politician of the Year’, ‘Best Mobile/Text Message Campaign’, ‘Best Online Viral Campaign’ or ‘Best Online Get-Out-The-Vote Campaign’.
