Schools in the UK: eAdmissions Process

eadmissions logoThe eAdmissions National Project is one of 22 projects initiated by the Department for Communities and Local Government (DCLG) in the UK, with the goal of helping local authorities (LAs) meet e-Government targets.

Jointly sponsored by DCLG and the Department for Education and Skills (DfES), eAdmissions aims to help LAs put their school admissions process online and meet the Priority Service Outcome (PSO) for Schools.

Through its website, the eAdmissions National Project provides LAs with tools, information and guidance on implementing and promoting an online admissions system. The eAdmissions National Project Team has been working closely with partner LAs to produce a Toolkit; the main objective being to provide a set of products and guidance that other LAs can use to help them put their admissions application service online.
