Residents and government join forces to clean the streets
Love Lewisham is a very creative initiative that involves local residents in keeping their neighbourhood clean.
Through this initiative, citizens can send to the project website, pictures and location details of any offending graffiti, abandoned vehicle, or unclean street among other problems.People can report issues directly from the website, and also by mms messages or e-mail.
Once requests are received by the authorities, they review them and decide an action. If the resident has asked to be kept informed, she will receive either an email or SMS text message when the issue has been updated.
It is also possible to visit the website and view the progress of the issues.
