e-Governance Academy, a referent institution in Estonia

The e-Governance Academy is a joint initiative of the Government of Estonia, the Open Society Institute (OSI) and the Regional Support Centre of the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP).

It was founded for the creation and transfer of knowledge concerning e-governance, e-democracy and the development of civil society.

It’s mission is to train and advise leaders and stakeholders in using information and communication technology (ICT) to increase government efficiency and to improve democratic processes with the aim of building open information societies.
